Holy Goals - Eight Steps to Connect Sports with God and Faith - Feb 11 at McAuley 7pm

Post date: Feb 10, 2014 5:10:34 AM

On Tuesday, February 11, the hockey-playing and marathon-running bishop will speak on “Holy Goals: Eight Ways to Connect Sports with God and Faith.” He’ll be signing his book ($14 cash apiece) by the same title after the event. There are 995 seats to fill at McAuley High School, so feel free to bring friends. If you’re on a sports team, bring the whole team. His talk should appeal to people of all stripes who might be interested in seeing the value of athletics beyond its mere entertainment aspect. The St. James Project is very excited to present two upcoming events with Bishop Thomas Paprocki of Springfield, IL this upcoming Tuesday and Wednesday, February 11 and 12. Both of these talks are free and open to the public. They will also be live streamed to stjamesproject.org for those unable to attend (please come if you can). Flyer below.
