Boys Basketball Registration - Due 9/4

Registration is now open for Boys ONLY grades 2^nd to High School! All registration forms and payments are due no later than Wednesday 9/4/13. Those who sign up after 9/4/13 are not guaranteed a spot on a team. The 2^nd Grade league is held on Sundays in the months of January, February and March. Practice typically begins after Thanksgiving. The 3^rd Grade to High School teams play in the Western Conference and normally play league games on Saturdays or Sundays. In addition, many of these teams do play in multiple tournaments offered at other Western Conference schools. In the event that more than one team is formed in an age group, the teams will be divided based on the following:

2^nd – 4^th Grade – Students will be evaluated based on skill level and the teams will be split evenly

5^th – HS – Students will be evaluated, by three outside basketball evaluators, based on skill level. The teams will then be split into competitive teams based on the talent evaluations, thus creating A and B teams.

In the event that evaluations do need to be scheduled, we will host this evaluation on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at St. Bernard. All families will be asked to contribute to the continued success of the St. Bernard Athletic program by filling volunteer roles such as concession workers, scorekeepers, scoreboard operators, tournament workers, etc. Please contact Matt Dierkers via email at mdierkers@lasallehs.net or call 513.385.3451 with any questions
