The fourth grade (now fifth grade) St. Bernard Baseball Bobcats finished their summer in first place in the Western Baseball Conference (11U) with a record of 13-1. Entering the tournament as the #1 seed, they fell in the winners bracket to St. Aloysius (15-0). The team stormed back to championship game, needing to win 2 in a row against St. Al's to claim the championship.

Behind stellar pitching and clutch defense, St. Bernard narrowly won the first game (5-4).

The final game showcased a back-and-forth extra inning affair with 6 lead changes. Losing by 1 run and down to their final strike twice in the bottom of the 5th inning, the team rallied to tie the game. Pitching held in the top of the 6th setting up an exciting "walk off" hit to claim the tournament championship, 8-7. The source of this success is the individual effort of each boy to work towards the best version of himself and the team's dedication to teamwork, courage and humility.

Great Season! Very Proud!
